New to NYC...

I've been a vegetarian for a good portion of my life. I realized at a young age where my burger came from and made my stance. It was a long and sometimes unhealthy road. Vegetarian proteins weren't as easy to come by 15 years ago and it isn't healthy to live on potatoes and canned peas... I'm in the process of moving to NYC for an amazing job, and it I'm looking for people that share my ethical values as well as my love of food! A little about me: I'm in executive sales in Manhattan. I'm as shocked as anyone someone gave me a grown up job! I'm almost 30 but don't feel a day over 19. I love to cook, take breathtaking photos, listen to/watch musicians (as in people who write and play their own music), and I'm always on the hunt for the next great read... My family lives in the Poconos, so it goes without saying that I love the outdoors. I spent the whole summer whitewater rafting, hiking, and making campfires. Jealous??? Ideally I'd love to meet someone who can make NYC feel underwhelming! Someone who could go to a 4 star restaurant with my clients, and then take me to a Melvins show! Someone who's ok with sitting on the couch and drinking wine and watching movies but the next night going to an improptu dance party... Maybe someone who is as comfortable hiking 15 miles as they would be in an upscale hotel in Europe. Well that's it for now. Hopefully you're out there...
