Aloha! I'm Journe. I'm new to the area, coming from a small town in South Dakota. I'm currently going to school at UHM for Environmental Anthropology. I am in love with my studies. My passion lies in improving the environment and the lives of others through anthropological study and application. Apart from school, I take any and all opportunities to venture out of the city. I love being in nature- it's where I find I can clear my head. I love hiking and meditation, enjoy experimenting with new foods (Hawai'i just happens to be the perfect place for that!), and enjoy new experiences in general. I am extremely energetic and goofy and just need someone who can keep up with me! I have been a vegetarian for about a year and a half for a variety of reasons, the largest being the hideousness of factory farming. I consider myself an environmentalist as well as an animal and human rights activist. I am on a constant journey for self-improvement- such is the spice of life. I am looking for someone with the same ideals and values. I admire intelligence and light-heartedness and tend to get along well with most people. If you are genuine, chances are we'll mesh well.
