Vegans rock
I've been vegan for 10 years and was lacto/ovo veg for four years prior. I could not be happier with my vegan lifestyle though sometimes feel like an oddball living in the Midwest. I often wonder if it would be better to live in a more progressive city. I have been looking into Portland, OR (LOVE it there!) but keep hearing how bad the job market is there. But if I stay in St. Louis I could help make changes and be a vegan/holistic trailblazer! But finding anyone veg to date in my age range here is nearly impossible.
We shall see...
I completed my training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition as a Certified Holistic Health Coach. As a health coach, I help clients reach their health goals focusing on nutrition from food including nutrition from relationships, career, exercise, and spirituality. I work with anyone and specialize in plant based diets. Becoming veg is what got me in touch with what I was eating and turned into a passion for nutrition and natural wellness. I am very excited to help others to be healthier and happier!
I also co-organize the St. Louis Veg*n Meetup. I thoroughly enjoy it and have made so many vegan friends through the group. We now have over 300 members!
I love the outdoors: hiking, biking, canoeing, camping or just observing nature. I love being as green as possible in my life, organic gardening, cooking!, farmer's markets, the arts in all forms, being artsy/craftsy, traveling near or far, exploring, Buddhism, yoga, and cats. Could not live without cats!
I like lots of different types of music, my favorite being indie pop/rock. Love rockabilly, swing, electronica, trip-hop, alt-country, bluegrass, rat pack style, old soul & funk, and more. Just not a fan of contemporary country music.
I am liberal and am a virgo. I have have a great sense of humor. I love Doctor Who, things vintage and handmade, steampunk, etc. I'm not into sports of any kind.
I'm looking for friends or dating, either short term or preferably
